Objectives:
This course is designed to teach advanced precision rifle tactics to police officers and military personnel. It will be held at various locations in and around Colorado Springs. The students attending this course should expect to spend approximately 10 hours per day training in whatever weather conditions the day presents. Students should also be prepared to endure portions of this course that are physically demanding. It is recommended that only accurate and reliable rifles be brought to this course. Equipment failures will not preclude the rest of the class from training.
Our Instructors are certified by the National Tactical Officers Association and National Rifle Association as precision rifle instructors specializing in the .308 cal. (7.62mm) sniper rifle. Instructors are also Firearms Instructors Certified by Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, Instructor Methodology (Train the Trainer) – certified, and are active members of the Colorado Springs Police Tactical Enforcement Unit Counter Sniper Team, bringing years of real world experience to the course.

· Shooting to 1,000 yds +

Urban hides
STUDENTS NEED TO BRING:
.308 or similar caliber sniper
quality rifle (no hunting rifles) and scope with ability to dial elevation and
wind
300 rounds of accurate and consistent ammunition
Camouflage BDU’s
Camouflage stick/face paint (Optional)
DOPE book or small notebook (capable of fitting in cargo pocket of BDU’s)
Flashlight/penlight (preferably with red lens)
Hearing and eye protection
Rifle cleaning equipment
Binoculars / Range Finders
Sniper veil
Duct tape

Spotting scope
Rain gear
Water bladder backpack
Pruning shears
Rear support bag for rifle
Gas mask
Elevated support such as a tripod
Night vision
